Use the free studio to prepare a short clip. It works on your device and leaves your original file unchanged.
- Choose your file in Studio. Use browser-supported mono or stereo audio, up to 25 MB and 10 minutes. A short file is a good starting point, especially on a phone.
- Set Start and End in seconds. For example, Start 5 and End 25 selects a 20-second clip from the original. The end must follow the start and stay within the recording.
- Adjust volume and fades. Begin at 100% volume. A short fade can soften an abrupt edge. Each fade must fit within the selected clip; louder settings can clip peaks.
- Choose Prepare preview. Listen with the preview controls. After changing a setting, prepare the preview again so the download reflects the new edit.
- Choose Download WAV. Save the exported file before leaving. WAV files can be larger than the original compressed recording. The export uses 16-bit PCM at the browser's decoding sample rate.
Your file stays with you.
The studio does not upload, publish or send your audio to our servers. Clear file, reload or leaving the page ends the editing session. A WAV you already downloaded remains on your device.
If a file won't open.
Check its size and duration and try a shorter mono or stereo recording in a format your browser supports. A filename ending in an audio extension does not guarantee that the browser can decode it.
Work with recordings you are entitled to edit and share. The editor does not grant rights to source material or submit files to Audio Landing Radio.
